With LiveAgent, you get access to multiple extensions which can be activated and de- activated as you want. The features you wish to use are simple to activate and the ones you don’t want can be deactivated. By default, some features are already activated for you. Just check it out in menu Features.
To change the default settings for plugins, simply go to the menu and click on features. Here you will see a list of all the features, along with the activated ones (they say active next to them). Simply activate and deactivate the features you need or don’t need through this window. Each feature has a short description of what it offers.
It is often important to customize your LiveAgent system to provide your customers with the best possible experience. You can add custom widgets into tickets which can provide extra information – such as the list of licenses or orders assigned to the selected customer – when your agent opens aticket. This provides your agent with all the information they need to help the client.
On the server side, you can connect custom PHP plugins which can modify LiveAgent functionality. For example you can change the way live chats are assigned to agents – randomly, by work load or round robin – which can help manage your customer service more efficiently.
