Post Affiliate Pro is very advanced system with many features, so there are many things you
can configure.
But don't be afraid, the system will work also in default, out-of-the-box configuration.
All settings can be changed using a web interface after you log in to your merchant panel.

In the Commissions settings you can specify which types of commissions you want to use,
maximum tiers of your program and another settings related to commissions.

You can set your system email address (will be used when sending email from the system) and
the method of sending.
Usually selecting "send by mail()" is teh best option for Linux/Unix hostings. If you use MS Windows
server, you would most probably have to specify your SMTP server.

Payout method configuration allows you to define minimum payout amounts for affiliates as well as
define or modify the payout options. There are four default payout optins: Check, PayPal, MoneyBookers and
Bank/Wire transfer.
The system is very flexible and nothing restricts you from defining your own payout options.

Troubleshooting is a great tool that helps you solve the problems if something does not work as you expect.
You can set the logging level and the system will log every action in the selected levels into the History
& error log.

Fraud protection is another very useful tool. It can help you automatically restrict clicks or sales from
the same IP address during specified time period, or sales with the same Order IDs.
This eliminates problems with fake clicks and sales caused by cheating affiliates.

You can choose which email notifications you would like to receive and to what email address the notifications
should be sent.

Affiliate settings allow you to configure the things related to affiliates, such as whether they require manuall
approval after signup, whether to display news and Resources area in their panel, etc.
You can also enable forced matrix here, and specify its width and height.

In Tracking & Cookies you can set the linking style and other things related to tracking the referrals.
You can also create an in-house account that will be used for saving sales which are not referred by any affiliate.
This way you can control if affiliate system properly tracks all the sales.
